Residential gates
Type of opening : Your gate is usually made up of a leaf and is usually opened on the property side (be aware that unless otherwise stipulated, it is forbidden to encroach on the highway). You can opt for a manual, motorised or motorisable version:
- Manual gate : It consists of a leaf with a handle. Most gates are offered in the manual version.
- Motorised gate : It consists of a leaf with the possibility to accommodate a system of motorisation. With the help of an intercom, you can remotely open the gate to your guests. The installation of a digicode with badge/remote control will be necessary.
- Motorisable gate : It is basically a manual version with the possibility of adding a motor. This is a good compromise for your budget : if it does not allow you to get a motor in the beginning, you can always add it later without having to change the model. It is therefore important to anticipate it when purchasing your gate.
Type of infill : There are different types of infill :
- Mesh gate : To create a visual uniformity, you can ensure that the mesh is identical to the panels already in place. The mesh can be of different sizes : 100 x 50mm, 50 x 50mm, 50 x 30mm. The colours can be varied. Up to 200 RAL are available.

- Manual gate : It consists of a leaf with a handle. Most gates are offered in the manual version.

On the other hand, aluminium gates are generally more expensive.Type of opening and operation : In terms of operation, you can opt for 3 types of gate that are proposed in manual or motorised versions :
- Swing gate : Also called swing or opening gate, the swing gate consists of two leaves (equal or unequal), whose direction of opening can be from the inside or from the outside. It therefore requires a significant clearance for the opening of its leaves.
- Sliding and cantilever gates : These types of gates are particularly suitable for small spaces thanks to its opening to the side. However, it is necessary to provide a lateral space greater than the width of the gate so that it can be properly opened. Sliding gates are also adaptable to sloping surfaces as well as difficult access close to a public road.Cantilever gates have the added advantage of not having a rail, so they are not likely to be hindered by debris or stones.
